Job summary

4Cyte Pathology Pty is seeking experienced Pathology Collectors around Warrnambool. You will collect blood and other specimens and may perform ECGs, Holter monitoring, and BP checks. A WHS mindset and clear communication with patients and doctors are essential.

Candidate must have at least 1 year in pathology and be able to work weekends at our collection centres. Own car and valid license are preferred; Australia-wide right to work required.

Qualifications

• Experience in collecting blood and other samples from patients.
• Experience in ECGs and Holter monitors.
• Experience in Paediatric and Neonatal collections.
• Processing of pathology specimens.
• Ability to work independently and participate in weekend rosters.
• Clerical duties and paperwork.

About the role

We are currently seeking for experienced Pathology Collectors in and around Warrnambool Area.

Candidate must have at least 1 year experience in Pathology.

Your primary duties will be to take blood and other specimens from patients including performing ECG's and Holter and BP monitoring.

Skills and experience

• Collection of blood and other samples from patients
• Experience in ECG's and Holter monitors
• Experience in Paediatric and Neonatal Collections
• Processing of Pathology Specimens
• Ability to work alone and participate in the weekend roster in any of our collection centres
• Clerical duties and Process paperwork
• Own car and current drivers license is preferred
• Ability to communicate with the team, referring Doctors and patients
• Ability to provide dedication to patient care and service delivery
• Ability to demonstrate organisation and problem solving skills
• Ability to prioritise and work under pressure
• Basic computer skills
• Comply with Work Health and Safety
