Job summary

4Cyte Pathology in Elmore, VIC, is seeking experienced Pathology Collectors to join our team. You will collect blood and other specimens from patients, perform ECGs and Holter monitoring, and support paediatric and neonatal collections across our sites.

Applicants must have at least 1 year of pathology experience, venepuncture with vacutainer method, and a willingness to work weekends. A current driver's licence and WWC clearance are preferred; you will communicate with patients and clinicians

Qualifications

• Venepuncture experience essential with vacutainer method.
• Collection of blood and other samples from patients.
• Experience in ECGs and Holter monitors.
• Experience in Paediatric and Neonatal Collections.
• Ability to work alone and participate in the weekend roster in any of our collection centres.
• Clerical duties and Process paperwork.
• Own car and current drivers license is preferred.
• Ability to communicate with the team, referring Doctors and patients.
• Ability to provide dedication to patient care and service delivery.
• Ability to demonstrate organisation and problem solving skills.
• Ability to prioritise and work under pressure.
• Basic computer skills.
• Comply with Work Health and Safety

About the role

We are currently seeking for experienced Pathology Collectors in and around Elmore Area.

Candidate must have at least 1 year experience in Pathology.

Your primary duties will be to take blood and other specimens from patients including performing ECG's and Holter and BP monitoring.
