Job summary

4Cyte Pathology Pty is seeking experienced Pathology Collectors to join our collection team servicing Scone, NSW and surrounding areas. This casual position involves taking blood and other specimens from patients and performing ECGs and Holter monitoring.

Candidates should have venepuncture experience with vacutainer method, own car and driver's licence, and be able to work weekends. A current Working with Children's Check and full COVID-19 vaccination are required.

Qualifications

• Venepuncture experience with vacutainer method.
• Collection of blood and other samples from patients.
• Experience in ECGs and Holter monitors.
• Processing of pathology specimens.
• Own car and valid driver licence.
• Ability to communicate with the team, doctors and patients.
• Dedication to patient care and service delivery.
• Organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritise and work under pressure.
• Comply with Work Health and Safety.
• Fully vaccinated for COVID-19.
• Current Working with Children Check clearance required upon commencement.

Responsibilities

• Take blood and other specimens from patients.

• Handle clerical duties and processing paperwork.

About the role

We are seeking experienced Pathology Collectors to join our collection team servicing Scone, NSW and surrounding areas.

Casual positions available.

Your primary duties will be to take blood and other specimens from patients including performing ECG's and Holter monitoring.

Skills and experience

Venepuncture experience essential with vacutainer method

• Collection of blood and other samples from patients

• Ability to work alone and participate in the weekend roster in any of our collection centres.
• Clerical duties and Process paperwork
