Job summary

4Cyte Pathology is seeking experienced Pathology Collectors to service the Southern Highlands, Bowral and surrounding areas in New South Wales. Casual positions available.

You will take blood and other specimens from patients, including performing ECGs and Holter monitoring. Key requirements include venepuncture with vacutainer method, ability to work independently and participate in weekend rosters, own car and valid driver license, and strong communication with patients and doctors.

Qualifications

• Venepuncture experience essential.
• Experience in ECGs and Holter monitors.
• Ability to work alone and participate in weekend roster.
• Own car and current driver licence is required.
• Comply with Work Health and Safety.

Responsibilities

• Collection of blood and other samples from patients.
• Take blood and other specimens from patients including ECGs and Holter monitoring.
• Clerical duties and processing paperwork.
• Communicate with the team, referring Doctors and patients.
• Prioritise and work under pressure.

About the role

We are looking for experienced Pathology Collectors to service the Southern Highlands, Bowral and surrounding areas.

Casual positions available.

Your primary duties will be to take blood and other specimens from patients including performing ECG's and Holter monitoring.

Skills and experience

Venepuncture experience essential with vacutainer method

• Collection of blood and other samples from patients
• Experience inECG's and Holter monitors
• Processing of Pathology Specimens
• Ability to work alone and participate in the weekend roster in any of our collection centres.
• Clerical duties and Process paperwork
• Own car and current driver licence is required
• Ability to communicate with the team, referring Doctors and patients
• Ability to provide dedication to patient care and service delivery
• Ability to demonstrate organisation and problem-solving skills
• Ability to prioritise and work under pressure
