Job summary

Douglass Hanly Moir Pathology is seeking enthusiastic Part-Time Pathology Collectors to join our Patient Services Team. You will collect blood and non-blood samples, guide patients on sampling procedures, and prepare specimens for transport to the laboratory.

Prior to commencement, provide evidence of unrestricted working rights in Australia, a National Police Check, and a Working with Children clearance. A minimum 25 hours per week commitment is required.

Douglass Hanly Moir Pathology is an established and well-respected pathology practice offering comprehensive, high-quality pathology services across New South Wales and northwest Victoria. Our culture of Medical Leadership drives excellence in patient care and service provision for our referring doctors.

We are seeking enthusiastic Part-Time Pathology Collectors to join our vibrant Patient Services Team. You will be an essential team member, and your responsibilities will include:

• Collecting blood and non-blood samples from patients, including conducting basic tests such as ECG and Holter Monitoring
• Following strict guidelines and procedures to ensure all samples are accurately labelled
• Guiding patients or caregivers on sampling procedures
• Preparing specimens for transportation to the laboratory
