Job summary

Voyages Tourism Australia at Ayers Rock Resort in Yulara, NT is seeking a Demi Chef Pastry to join the on-site pastry team. You will produce quality pastry and desserts to resort standards and contribute to menu development.

With Certificate III in Patisserie and at least 2 years post-apprenticeship experience, you will help supervise junior pastry staff while maintaining HACCP and cost control. We offer relocation support up to $700, discounted accommodation, and resort discounts.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Patisserie or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years post-apprenticeship pastry kitchen experience.
• Ability to work on-site in remote Ayers Rock area.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and produce quality pastry and dessert items in line with resort standards.
• Supervise pastry team to ensure consistency, efficiency, and adherence to recipes and presentation guidelines.
• Monitor stock levels, portion control, and food costs to maintain budget targets and reduce wastage.
• Maintain HACCP and WHS procedures.
• Mentor junior pastry team members to uphold excellence across kitchen operations.
