Job summary

Voyages Indigenous Tourism Australia is seeking a Demi Chef Pastry to join the onsite pastry team at Ayers Rock Resort in Yulara, NT. You will bring a Certificate III in Patisserie (or equivalent) and at least 2 years post-apprenticeship pastry experience to produce quality pastry items while maintaining guest satisfaction.

You will work with local ingredients, contribute to menu development, and enjoy incentives including relocation assistance up to $700, staff facilities, and resort discounts.

Are you looking for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity? Ayers Rock Resort is searching for a Demi Chef Pastry to live and work onsite at Yulara, NT which is 20 min drive from Uluru, one of Australia's most iconic and culturally significant landmarks.
We are seeking a passionate and Certificate III in Patisserie (or equivalent) qualified individual who is driven and focused with a desire to learn and succeed in a culinary/hospitality career. You will have minimum 2 years post apprenticeship experience working in a pastry kitchen team. This role will see you produce quality pastry items, ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction and meeting performance indicators including wage and food cost, quality standards and outlet presentation.
Key Duties

• Assist in the running of sections in the kitchen during the absence of the Chef De Partie Pastry.
• Prepare daily ‘mise en place’ for the Pastry Team;
• Perform basic tasks of food preparation and organisation in the kitchen;
• Effectively communicate with other members of the kitchen staff during preparation and service;
