Harmony Auto, including BYD Noosa flagship store in Queensland, seeks a Parts Interpreter / Warranty to ensure smooth parts and warranty operations. You will coordinate with internal teams, suppliers and customers, maintaining accuracy and efficiency in daily activities.

The role requires automotive background, strong communication, and the ability to manage inventory, warranties and related documentation. Candidates must be eligible to work in Australia and have a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Automotive degree or higher required.
• 2+ years in automotive repair services or related industries.
• Experience in automotive service, parts, or warranty operations preferred.
• Strong customer communication and documentation accuracy required.
• Ability to manage client relationships and support workshop operations.

Responsabilités

• Manage BO, SO, FO ordering and tracking.
• Oversee daily inbound/outbound parts operations and end-of-day inventory tasks.
• Use EPC (Electronic Parts Catalog) and maintain dealer computer systems.
• Investigate and resolve inventory inconsistencies.
• Conduct monthly inventory counts with finance and report results.
• Inspect inventory, shipping, and receiving areas weekly.
• Track ordered parts and manage external products.
• Handle other tasks assigned by department leaders.

The Parts Interpreter /Warranty is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of the dealership’s parts department and warranty processes. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate effectively with internal departments, external partners, and customers.

Parts Duties

• Manage BO, SO, FO ordering and tracking.
• Oversee daily inbound/outbound parts operations and end-of-day inventory tasks.
• Use EPC (Electronic Parts Catalog) and maintain dealer computer systems.
• Investigate and resolve inventory inconsistencies.
• Conduct monthly inventory counts with finance and report results.
• Inspect inventory, shipping, and receiving areas weekly.
• Track ordered parts and manage external products.
• Handle other tasks assigned by superiors.

Warranty Duties

• Apply warranty terms, processes, and technical notices.
• Assess damaged parts for warranty eligibility.
• Review and process warranty documents and claims.
• Submit applications, input data, and organize claim files.
• Manage warranty records and data electronically.
• Check refund documents and prepare reports.
• Handle old parts recycling and management.
• Communicate with technical staff and departments, providing suggestions.
• Perform additional tasks assigned by department leaders.

Qualifications:

Educational background:

• Automotive or related college degree or above

Experience:

• More than 2 years of work experience in the scope of automotive repair services or related industries.
• Previous experience in automotive service, parts, or warranty operations preferred
• Strong background in customer communication and documentation accuracy
• Ability to manage client relationships and support workshop operations

Skills:

• Good computer application knowledge
• Communication skills and good language expression ability in the sales process and related work
• Must have strong analysis, organization, business development and training skills
• Possess a valid driver's license
• Ability to handle customer complaints
