Job summary

Tony White Group is seeking a Customer-focused Automotive Parts Interpreter for Mornington Ford on the Mornington Peninsula. You will identify parts, prepare quotes, process orders and build strong relationships with customers and suppliers in a busy parts department.

The role requires a current driver’s licence, strong computer skills and an aptitude for learning dealership systems. A forklift licence is desirable; prior automotive parts experience is preferred but not essential.

• Previous experience in automotive parts interpreting or dealership parts operations is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Accurately identify and interpret automotive parts for retail, trade and internal customers.
• Prepare quotes, process orders and manage parts enquiries efficiently.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers and suppliers.
• Receive, inspect, unpack and organise incoming stock.
• Process invoices and coordinate customer orders and deliveries.
• Maintain accurate stock records and inventory control procedures.
• Use electronic parts catalogues and dealership systems to identify and source parts.
• Assist with warehousing duties and general parts department operations.
• Provide exceptional customer service and professional advice.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
• Work collaboratively with the team to support daily operations and department goals

As part of the Tony White Group, Peninsula Dealer Group is one of the largest automotive dealership groups on the Mornington Peninsula, located in Melbourne's beautiful bayside region.

We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and customer-focused Automotive Parts Interpreter to join our friendly and supportive team at Mornington Ford.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Accurately identify and interpret automotive parts and accessories for retail, trade and internal customers

Prepare quotes, process orders and manage parts enquiries efficiently

REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS

Current and valid driver's licence

Previous experience in automotive parts interpreting or dealership parts operations (desirable but not essential)
