Job summary

Adaptalift Group in Melbourne is seeking an experienced Parts Interpreter to join our busy Parts Team. You will handle parts enquiries from customers and technicians, ensuring accurate and timely supply of parts from our Melbourne branches.

The role requires at least three years of parts interpreter experience, exposure to automotive or heavy plant parts, and proficiency with ERP systems and electronic parts manuals. Working hours are Monday to Friday, with flexibility at start and finish times.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years' experience as a Parts Interpreter.
• Exposure to automotive, materials handling, earthmoving or heavy plant parts.
• Experience with ERP systems and electronic parts manuals.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer parts enquiries and identify correct parts.
• Check stock availability and update customers with stock status.
• Order and receipting stock efficiently.

The role

We’re looking for an experienced Parts Interpreter to join our growing Parts Team in Melbourne, with the opportunity to be based at either our Springvale or Truganina branch.

In this busy and varied role, you’ll handle parts enquiries from customers and internal technicians, ensuring the timely and accurate supply of parts.

What you’ll be doing

• Responding to customer parts enquiries, identifying the correct parts and checking stock availability
• Monitoring and responding to parts email enquiries, with regular updates for internal and external customers
• Ordering and receipting stock accurately and efficiently

What you’ll bring

• At least three years’ experience as a Parts Interpreter
• Exposure to automotive, materials handling, earthmoving or heavy plant parts
• Confidence working in a fast-paced environment
• High customer service standards and strong communication skills
• Demonstrated competency using ERP systems
• Experience using electronic parts manuals
• Experience with Hyster, Yale, JCB or similar products would be an advantage
