Hitachi Construction Machinery (Australia) Pty Ltd is seeking a Parts Interpreter – Construction to support customers across the construction and equipment sectors. You will manage parts enquiries, quotations, orders, and inventory while driving sales opportunities and maintaining high service levels.

Based in NSW, the role emphasizes accurate parts handling, ERP system usage, and a proactive, safety-conscious approach within a collaborative team environment.

Reporting to the Parts Manager, the Parts Interpreter – Construction is an opportunity to play a key role in supporting customers across the construction and equipment sectors by delivering exceptional service, parts support, and sales solutions. This position is responsible for managing parts enquiries, quotations, order processing, inventory coordination, and identifying opportunities to grow parts and construction equipment sales.

About the Opportunity

As a key member of the team, your responsibilities will include:

• Deliver outstanding customer service and support for parts enquiries, orders, quotations, and deliveries.

To be successful you will need:

• Experience in customer service, parts sales, inventory, warehousing, or a similar role.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Customer-focused with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset.
• Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Comfortable using computer systems such as Microsoft Dynamics or similar ERP platforms.
• Committed to safety, teamwork, and delivering high-quality service.
