Job summary

KBR Australia is seeking an experienced IT Service Delivery Manager to lead service delivery across Defence systems and applications in a dynamic, security‑heavy environment. You will partner with Defence stakeholders, IT support agencies and industry partners to ensure efficient, high‑quality outcomes aligned with customer expectations.

Reporting to the Program Manager, AM&C System Sustainment, you will drive ITIL‑based processes, risk management, forecasting and continuous improvement while

Qualifications

• Experience leading IT service delivery teams and initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of ITIL or equivalent ITSM frameworks.
• Proven ability to manage vendor relationships and contracted service providers.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• NV1 Defence security clearance (or ability to obtain) is required.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with Defence customers and stakeholders to ensure service delivery meets expectations.
• Define and improve IT service delivery processes based on ITSM best practices.
• Lead teams delivering critical IT services and support.
• Support project planning, forecasting, budgeting, and governance.
• Identify and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies in service delivery.
• Monitor SLAs and service metrics to ensure operational excellence.
• Act as primary escalation point for critical incidents and service delivery issues.
