Job summary

Linde Material Handling is seeking an experienced Parts Coordinator in Australia to deliver high-quality service for spare parts enquiries and orders. The role involves handling over-the-counter and internal customer requests via email and phone, quoting parts, and ensuring timely picking and dispatching of parts.

The successful candidate will have at least two years in parts interpretation, strong warehousing understanding, ERP experience, and excellent attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years' experience in parts interpretation within our industry.
• Understanding of warehousing and stock control fundamentals.
• Proficient in Word, Excel & Outlook.
• Experience using ERP software to track stock levels.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Certificate in warehousing or parts interpretation is desired.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Handle spare parts enquiries for over-the-counter and internal customers via email and phone.
• Prepare quotations for parts availability and supply.
• Process spare parts orders for internal and external customers.
• Pick and dispatch spare parts daily.
• Maintain housekeeping of storage areas.
• Liaise with suppliers, raise purchase orders, receipt goods, and process supplier invoices in a timely manner.
• Ensure stock levels and inventory control for consumables.

We are looking for an experienced Parts Coordinator to join our team and provide an outstanding level of customer service to both internal and external customers both via emails and the phone contact centre. You will also be responsible for picking and dispatching of spare parts on a daily basis and ensuring adequate stock levels.

• Day to day handling of spare parts enquires (interpretation, searches, price and availability) for over the counter and internal customers via email and phone
• Prepare quotations for parts supply and availability
• Processing of spare parts orders for internal and external customers
• Picking and dispatching of spare parts daily
• Housekeeping of storage areas
• Liaise with local and internal parts suppliers, raise purchase orders, receipt goods and process supplier invoices in a timely manner
• Ensure adequate stock levels and general inventory control is maintained on consumables

Requirements for success:

• Minimum of two years' experience in parts interpretation within our industry or a related industry.
• Understanding of the key fundamentals of warehousing and stock control.
• General computer skills in Microsoft Office packages - Word, Excel & Outlook.
• Experience using ERP software to track parts stock levels.
• The ability to identify potential selling opportunities.
• A certificate in warehousing, parts interpretation or similar is desired.
• Strong customer service and communication skills
