Job summary

Investa in Sydney is seeking a detail‑oriented People and Development Business Partner to own our learning and development strategy. This part-time role, 3 days per week, focuses on shaping learning, budgeting, and delivering programs that drive career growth across the business.

You’ll partner with leaders to tailor solutions, grow leadership capability, and ensure inclusive, practical development planning that supports people at all levels, from new hires to executives.

Qualifications

• A tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business, Learning or a similar field (an L&D qualification is a bonus).
• Hands-on experience planning, developing and delivering learning solutions.
• Confidence facilitating learning programs and team workshops.
• Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and development planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead our L&D strategy: Shape and deliver the learning and development strategy, curate our learning platform, and manage the budget.
• Partner with leaders: Work alongside leaders to understand team needs and design practical learning solutions.
• Grow our leaders: Review Leadership Academy and develop high-potential employees.
• Guide development planning: Help employees and managers plan development activities.
• Run induction programs: Deliver online and in-person onboarding and refresher sessions.
• Ensure fair access to development, including gender equity in programs.
• Collaborate with external providers and facilitators on new programs.
