Base pay range

A$85,000.00/yr - A$95,000.00/yr

I am recruiting for a permanent position for a Payroll Officer in a leading company based in Sydney

This is a permanent position that requires an experienced Payroll professional who has end to end Payroll processing experience with a large volume Payroll

The client are an industry leader presence across Australia, excellent company culture and numerous benefits


The Role:

• End to end Payroll processing
• Provide guidance on payroll issues, ensuring clear communication and prompt resolution of concerns
• Process and distribute payslips
• Make superannuation payments and perform superannuation reconciliation
• Workers compensation yearly reporting
• STP reporting to ATO and lodge PAYG Withholding
• Long service portal annual reporting
• Monthly payroll reconciliation and unassigned payroll allocation
• State payroll tax monthly lodgement and yearly reconciliation

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a high-volume Payroll processing role
• Experience interpreting Awards/EBAs
• Experience with Chris21 highly desirable
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Full working rights in Australia (Permanent Residency/Citizenship)
• Work from home structure
