Job summary

Lakeview Private Hospital in Bella Vista, Sydney, seeks a highly motivated Payroll Officer to join our Finance team on a permanent part-time basis, working 2 days per week (Mondays and Tuesdays to align with payroll run). There may be occasional overtime.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will manage end-to-end payroll for 350 staff, maintain time and attendance systems, handle payroll inquiries, and support reporting. Experience with TimeTarget and Sage Micropay is highly regarded.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' end-to-end payroll processing experience.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
• Knowledge of industrial awards for nursing and health support staff desirable.
• Experience with TimeTarget and Sage Micropay; hospital/health industry experience is valued.

Responsibilities

• Assist with end-to-end processing of the fortnightly payroll for 350 staff.
• Maintain Lakeview's time & attendance and payroll systems.
• Act as the point of contact for payroll-related enquiries from employees.
• Data entry of amendment transactions and back payments.
• Processing of new starters and terminations.
• Preparation of payroll-related reports.
• Liaise with executive management and HR.
