Job summary

ESV Business advice and accounting in Sydney CBD NSW is seeking a Part Time Payroll Officer for 2-3 days per week. You will manage payroll processing, employment contracts, HRIS administration and support HR projects within a professional services firm.

You should have 2-3 years in a similar role and be comfortable with Xero and XPM. A degree in accounting, business or HR is preferred, and you will work on-site in Sydney.

Qualifications

• You have 2 to 3 years' experience in a similar payroll role.
• Experience with Australian payroll obligations and legislation is desirable.
• Proficiency with Xero and XPM helps you hit the ground running.

Responsibilities

• Run monthly payroll and manage compliance obligations (Payroll Tax, PAYG, Superannuation, STP).
• Support preparation of employment contracts and related documentation.
• Manage offboarding for exiting staff.
• Administer HRIS (Employment Hero) including personnel records and templates.
• Provide light admin support across recruitment, onboarding and general P&C inquiries.
• Support ad hoc P&C projects and surveys.
