Mount Annan Christian College Limited is seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join the Finance team on a part-time parental leave contract through to May 2027. The successful applicant will manage fortnightly payroll with Xero and salary packaging using Southgate, while ensuring compliance with EBAs and legislative requirements.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years’ payroll experience, ability to handle high volumes, and strong attention to detail.

Formación

• Minimum 3 years’ payroll experience.
• Experience processing high-volume payrolls.
• Sound understanding of payroll legislation, regulations and compliance.
• Demonstrated experience interpreting EBAs or industrial awards.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team.
• Proactive in improving processes.
• Intermediate MS Office skills.

Responsabilidades

• Manage end-to-end fortnightly payroll via Xero and salary packaging via Southgate.
• Process timesheets and payroll forms promptly.
• Maintain payroll records including entitlements and increments.
• Balance and reconcile fortnightly payroll outputs.
• Apply EBAs and Awards in line with policies.
• Provide superannuation administration for compliance.
• Process PAYG and month-end payroll journals.
• Generate payroll reports for management.
