Job summary

Community Services #1 in Canberra is seeking a part-time Payroll Officer to undertake end-to-end payroll processing, payments, reconciliations and payroll reporting.

Applicants should have a Payroll/Accounting qualification or equivalent experience, strong attention to detail and the ability to work across multiple systems.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV or higher qualification in payroll, accounting, bookkeeping, finance, or related field, or substantial payroll experience.
• Ability to prioritise, maintain accuracy, and work across multiple payroll systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end payroll processing, payments, reconciliations and reporting.
• Respond to employee pay enquiries with accurate guidance and resolve issues.
• Monitor compliance and contribute to process improvements.
