Job summary

Civlec Pty Ltd (T/A Trafflec and GRC Civil) in Bells Creek seeks an experienced Payroll & Accounts Officer for a part-time role four days per week. You’ll manage end-to-end payroll, handle superannuation, new starters and terminations, and support accounts payable.

The successful candidate will have 5+ years’ payroll experience, HR exposure, knowledge of Australian awards, and proficiency with payroll and accounts software. Diploma in Payroll Services or Business Administration is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ payroll experience with exposure to human resources.
• Experience in using payroll and accounts software.
• Understanding of Australian employment legislation including the Fair Work Act and industry awards.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end payroll processing including approvals, costing and processing of weekly payroll with superannuation and other deductions.
• Processing new starters, terminations, employee transfers and salary changes.
• Interpretation of Awards & EBA with guidance from Company Accountant.
• Payroll reporting and statutory compliance.
• Assistance with accounts payable functions and data entry targets.
