Western Civil & Earthmoving is seeking a Payroll and Accounts Officer to support day-to-day financial administration in a hands-on, varied role. You will handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and general business administration from our Melbourne CBD office.

The role offers flexible hours with school-hour arrangements considered and an attractive hourly rate based on experience. Join a supportive, down-to-earth team and take ownership of day-to-day accounts and payroll functions.

Qualificações

• Experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll.
• Understanding of Australian payroll requirements and obligations.
• Experience with accounting/payroll software such as Xero or MYOB.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organisation and time management.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and business systems.

Responsabilidades

• Process supplier invoices, payments and reconciliations.
• Prepare and issue customer invoices.
• Monitor overdue accounts and follow up payments.
• Reconcile supplier and customer accounts.
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
• Process employee payroll accurately and on time.
• Review timesheets, hours, allowances and leave.
• Maintain payroll records and leave balances.
• Assist with superannuation and payroll reporting.
