Job summary

The School of Nursing and Midwifery at the University of Newcastle's Tamworth campus invites an Associate Lecturer in Nursing (Teaching Intensive) to join our team. The role focuses on delivering high-quality teaching for the Bachelor of Nursing, student support, and engagement with regional health partners.

As a teaching-intensive academic, you will deliver simulation-based learning and work-integrated learning opportunities, with opportunities for scholarly activity across campuses to enhance

Qualifications

• Current nursing registration with AHPRA without restrictions
• Master’s degree or higher in nursing or related field
• Experience teaching adult learners in higher education
• Proficiency with online learning platforms (e.g., Canvas) and admin systems

Responsibilities

• Deliver learning experiences for the Bachelor of Nursing program
• Support student success and retention through engaging teaching
• Collaborate across Tamworth, Callaghan and Central Coast campuses on governance and curriculum development
