The University of Newcastle’s Tamworth campus is seeking an Associate Lecturer in Midwifery (Teaching Intensive) to deliver high-quality teaching and student support across Bachelor and Master midwifery programs.

You will engage in contemporary pedagogy, simulate-based learning, and work-integrated learning while collaborating with partners across Hunter New England and Central Coast regions.

Competenze

• Current midwifery registration with AHPRA with no restrictions
• Master’s level qualification or higher
• Experience in adult teaching and learning
• Recency of practice in midwifery (450 hours in past five years)

Mansioni

• Deliver teaching for the Bachelor of Midwifery and Master of Midwifery programs
• Support student success and retention with engaging learning
• Incorporate simulation-based learning and work-integrated learning opportunities
• Contribute to curriculum development and regional partnerships across campuses
