Job summary

Cleveland Medical is seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist for a part-time casual role. The position supports front-desk duties in a busy private practice, including greeting patients, answering calls, and coordinating appointments.

You will manage accounts and assist with general enquiries, with onsite training provided. The ideal candidate has at least 12 months in a medical receptionist role, familiarity with Best Practice software (preferred), and comfort handling TYRO, DVA, Workcover

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months experience as a medical receptionist.
• Experience with Best Practice software (preferred).
• Familiar with processing and receipting payments using TYRO, DVA, Workcover and Medicare billing.
• Comprehension of and dedication to patient confidentiality.
• Exceptional verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable and punctual.

Responsibilities

• Patient management; greeting and welcoming patients, answering phone enquiries, making, and confirming appointments; checking, processing, and managing customer accounts; and assisting callers with general enquiries.
• Experience in Best Practice
• Processing and receipting payments using TYRO, DVA, Workcover and Medicare billing
• General housekeeping and upkeep of reception area and Doctors consulting rooms
