Job summary

BaptistCare NSW/ACT - Aged Care is seeking a Lifestyle Coordinator for Blue Hills Manor Aged Care Home in Prestons. The role covers designing and delivering a diverse activity program for residents, working 30 hours per fortnight in a part-time permanent capacity.

You will partner with residents, plan engaging activities and lead a small team, ensuring person-centred care. The role includes access to training, wellness programs and staff discounts within a supportive, not-for-profit environment.

Qualifications

• Certificate 4 in Leisure and Health or willingness to complete.
• Current Driver's license.
• Previous experience in the Aged Care sector.
• Well-developed communication and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of current Aged Care Quality Standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement engaging activities tailored to residents' preferences, goals and life experiences.
• Support and lead a team to deliver meaningful leisure and lifestyle programs.
• Collaborate with care teams to ensure person-centred activity plans.
