BaptistCare is hiring a Lifestyle Coordinator for Blue Hills Manor, Prestons. The role focuses on designing and delivering personalized leisure and lifestyle activities for residents, partnering with care teams, and leading a small group to enhance well-being.

You will work at our Prestons site with opportunities for professional development and training within a supportive, faith-based environment that values community and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Certificate 4 in Leisure and Health or related qualification or willing to complete.
• Current Driver’s license
• Previous experience working in the Aged Care sector
• Computer literacy (Microsoft Office)
• Well-developed communication and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of current Aged Care Quality Standards

• Working hours -Monday-Tuesday, 8am-4pm 30 hours per fort night

About the Role:

Located at Prestons, Blue Hills Manor Aged Care Home is a welcoming and homely aged care home offering 24-hour, care and support to residents.

As the Lifestyle Coordinator, you will be responsible for partnering with people living in BaptistCare Residential Aged Care Homes by creating, planning, implementing, and evaluating a diverse leisure and lifestyle program. You will use your creative skills and innovation to deliver meaningful and engaging activities, tailored to an individual’s life experiences, goals and preferences. You will support and lead a team as together you seek to deliver the best outcomes for those living in our communities.

You’ll have the chance to work at our aged care home George Forbes House- located at Queanbeyan, George Fobes Aged Care Home is a welcoming and homely aged care home offering 24-hour, care and support to residents.

The position will benefit from the extensive resources and support available within the organisation, ensuring that you have access to the necessary tools and assistance to excel in your role.
