Job summary

BaptistCare NSW/ACT - Aged Care in Red Hill, ACT, is seeking a part-time Wellbeing & Lifestyle Coordinator to create engaging programs for residents. You will design and run activities, build strong relationships with residents and families, and work with village and care teams to reflect residents’ interests and wellbeing goals.

You will support those living with dementia or mobility challenges, coordinate outings, and help maintain connections with family and community networks, contributing

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Leisure and Health or equivalent qualification.
• Experience working in aged care or similar.
• Experience supporting people living with dementia and end-of-life support.
• Experience coordinating wellbeing, lifestyle or leisure programs.
• Current First Aid certificate.

Responsibilities

• Designing and coordinating meaningful wellbeing and lifestyle programs
• Planning and facilitating group and individual activities, events and outings
• Building strong relationships with residents and understanding their interests and wellbeing goals
• Conducting regular wellbeing and welfare check-ins
• Supporting residents with varying needs, including those living with dementia, cognitive decline or mobility limitations
• Helping residents maintain connections with family, community, cultural and faith-based networks
• Working collaboratively with village and care teams
• Building relationships with community organisations and service providers to enhance wellbeing programs
