Job summary

Catholic Healthcare invites applications for a Lifestyle Assistant position at Bodington, Wentworth Falls, NSW. This permanent part-time role runs Friday 9-5, Saturday 9-4 and Sunday 9-4, with a pay rate of $38 per hour plus superannuation.

You will support residents with social activities, outings and everyday interactions, helping create meaningful moments and connections within our care community.

Qualifications

• Certificate III/IV in Leisure and Health or similar qualification.
• Experience in a similar role.
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Ability to build professional, respectful relationships with residents and their families.
• Willingness to obtain a Police Check and NDIS clearance.

Responsibilities

• Encourage resident choice, independence and participation in meaningful activities.
• Assist design, delivery and monitoring of lifestyle programs and activities.
• Create events and experiences that connect residents with the wider community, volunteers and families.
• Provide direct resident support during activities and outings, including bus trips and personal care.
• Build positive relationships and foster an inclusive, valued environment for residents.
• Support colleagues and contribute to a cooperative team culture.
• Work safely and follow all policies to protect residents and staff.
