St Joseph's Primary School, Denman, seeks a temporary part-time Learning Support Assistant (10 hours/week across Mon & Thu) for 2027. The role supports teachers in academic and spiritual growth, classroom routines and student care, especially for students with disabilities.

Experience with NSW Disability legislation and flexibility to work under teacher direction are essential. WWCC and anaphylaxis training are required; Certificate III/IV in SBES is desirable.

Qualifikationen

• Ability to articulate a clear understanding of and a personal commitment to Catholic education and the mission of the Church through Catholic schools
• Experience working with students with disability (K-12)
• Demonstrated ability to work under the direction of a teacher, and in collaboration with school staff, CSO staff, and external stakeholders
• Demonstrated ability to effectively administer assessments, and deliver interventions, under the direction of a teacher
• Demonstrated ability to implement adjustments required for individual students and groups of students
• Experience in supporting student enrolment and transitions, under the direction of a teacher
• Knowledge about the relevant Disability legislation and the Nationally Consistent Collection of Data
• Evidence of excellent organisational, interpersonal, and administrative skills
