Job summary

Bendigo Kangan Institute is seeking an Instructional Designer to develop learner-centred content and assessments across multiple delivery formats including Moodle-based online resources.

You will work with teachers and subject matter experts to translate complex information into practical learning experiences, with strong onboarding and collaborative team support. The role offers part-time 0.6 FTE, with a commitment to flexible work options and professional development.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as an Instructional Designer in a TAFE or higher education environment.
• Certificate IV Training and Assessment is essential; higher diplomas preferred.
• Experience designing learner-centred courseware and assessments across formats.

Responsibilities

• Design engaging, learner-centred training and educational content for face-to-face, blended and online delivery.
• Develop and improve courseware, assessment resources and digital learning materials (e.g., Moodle).
• Translate complex information into clear, practical learning experiences with stakeholders.
• Work autonomously from project briefs while seeking clarity to ensure quality outcomes.
