Job summary

MiCare Ltd. is seeking an organised Injury Management and Wellbeing Coordinator based in Victoria for a part-time role (three or four days per week).

You will support employees experiencing injuries, coordinate safe returns to work, and help deliver wellbeing initiatives across Victoria and Queensland. You will liaise with employees, managers, People Services, insurers and practitioners to manage cases, develop Return to Work Plans and monitor progress, while upholding confidentiality and

Qualifications

• Completion of recognised Return to Work Coordinator training or equivalent relevant training.
• At least two years of practical experience in return to work and injury management, including case coordination, employee contact, suitable duties planning and insurer liaison.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases, timelines and records.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with diverse backgrounds.
• Confidentiality and escalation when needed.
• Qualifications in injury management, occupational health and safety, occupational rehabilitation, human resources or related field highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day injury management and return to work cases, maintaining supportive contact with employees throughout their recovery.
• Assist with workers compensation claims, documentation and insurer liaison in Victoria and Queensland.
• Develop, coordinate and review Return to Work Plans and Wellbeing Plans, including suitable duties and workplace adjustments.
• Monitor medical certificates, work capacity, recovery milestones and review dates; follow up actions and barriers to recovery.
• Support employees returning to work after non-work-related injury, illness or extended absence.
• Maintain confidential case records and provide progress updates; escalate complex matters as needed.
• Coordinate wellbeing activities, education and awareness campaigns across the workforce.
