• Answer, screen and prioritise calls; respond to patient enquiries re Patient Portal access.
• Action emergencies; initiate paging; make public announcements when necessary.
• Maintain switchboard contact database; review and action out-of-hours emails.
• Provide 24/7 shift coverage on switchboard and reception; ensure flexibility and punctuality.
• Communicate with team; assist training; ensure patient confidentiality; foster supportive environment.
