Job summary

Cabrini Health in Melbourne’s south-east is seeking a proactive Customer Service Officer to support switchboard, concierge and reception duties across Cabrini Malvern Hospital. This permanent part-time role involves varied shifts across the week and provides exposure to patient-centred service in a not-for-profit healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months customer service experience.
• Proficient with MS Office and able to learn new software.
• Excellent communication and time management.
• Comfort with handling confidential information.
• Ability to work across switchboard, concierge and reception areas.

Responsibilities

• Answering and redirecting incoming calls through our switchboard system.
• Concierge duties - greeting patients and visitors at the main hospital entrance and escorting patients into the hospital.
• Responding to emergency calls in a timely manner and accurately transmitting messages via the relevant system.
• Giving directions in accordance with our way-finding procedure.
• Booking of taxis and couriers as requested.
• Making Patient Transport bookings as required.
• Assisting with general enquiries.
