Job summary

Christadelphian Aged Care is seeking a Manager, Property and Environment (part-time) at North Parramatta NSW. You will lead maintenance, asset planning and contractor governance to keep buildings safe, compliant and fit for purpose.

You will oversee budgets, environmental initiatives and essential services, working with care teams and stakeholders to support resident wellbeing and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualifications in facilities management or building services.
• Demonstrated experience leading maintenance and facilities management functions.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, plant and equipment maintenance.
• Experience managing maintenance budgets and contractor agreements.

Responsibilities

• Lead management and maintenance of buildings, plant, equipment, grounds and services.
• Develop asset registers, condition assessments and replacement schedules.
• Coordinate planned, preventative and reactive maintenance programs.
• Oversee building systems (fire, electrical, HVAC, hydraulic, security, access).
• Manage contractors, suppliers, service agreements, licences and insurances.
• Support capital works, minor works and infrastructure projects.
• Manage facilities budgets within delegated authority.
• Monitor risks to infrastructure, assets and maintenance programs.
• Maintain compliance evidence for audits and inspections.
• Ensure contractor safety and permit-to-work processes are followed.
• Identify energy and resource-efficiency opportunities.
• Lead maintenance staff and foster positive team culture.
• Communicate planned works and project outcomes to residents and families.
