Job summary

Respect Coates is seeking a Maintenance Coordinator for a part-time role (24 hours per week), three 8-hour days, with days negotiable to suit the right candidate. You’ll be hands-on, coordinating maintenance across buildings and grounds to keep residents, visitors and staff safe and comfortable.

Working with the General Manager, you’ll manage preventative and reactive maintenance, oversee contractors and maintain asset records in a responsive, friendly aged care environment.

Qualifications

• Broad maintenance experience across buildings, grounds and equipment.
• Current Driver's Licence.
• National Police Check or willingness to obtain one.
• Experience coordinating maintenance programs.
• Trade qualification relevant to the role.
• Testing and Tagging certification.
• Experience in residential aged care or similar environment.
• Grounds maintenance or horticulture experience.
• Knowledge of preventative maintenance systems and asset management.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate preventative and reactive maintenance across the facility.
• Maintain asset register and maintenance records.
• Schedule and oversee servicing, repairs and contractor works.
• Support refurbishment projects, equipment replacement and capital works planning.
• Ensure buildings, resident rooms and grounds are maintained to a high standard.
• Monitor stock and maintenance supplies.
• Assist with fire safety, emergency preparedness and essential services compliance.
• Coordinate testing and tagging (or perform if suitably qualified).
• Ensure company vehicles are maintained and serviced.
• Participate in an on-call maintenance roster as required.
