Job summary

Respect Coates is seeking a Maintenance Coordinator for a part-time role (24 hours per week) in Victoria. You will help ensure buildings, equipment and grounds are safe and well maintained, while coordinating contractors and maintenance tasks.

You will report to the General Manager and may be involved in asset records, preventative maintenance, and various refurbishment activities. This role offers a varied day-to-day workload and on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications

• General maintenance and gardening skills.
• Current Driver's Licence.
• Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain one).
• Experience coordinating maintenance programs.
• Trade qualification relevant to the role.
• Testing and Tagging certification.
• Experience in residential aged care, healthcare or similar environment.
• Experience in grounds maintenance or horticulture.
• Knowledge of preventative maintenance systems and asset management.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate preventative and reactive maintenance across the facility.
• Maintain the asset register and maintenance records.
• Schedule and oversee servicing, repairs and contractor works.
• Support refurbishment projects, equipment replacement and capital works planning.
• Ensure buildings, resident rooms and grounds are maintained to a high standard.
• Monitor stock and maintenance supplies.
• Assist with fire safety, emergency preparedness and essential services compliance.
• Coordinate testing and tagging (or perform if suitably qualified).
• Ensure company vehicles are maintained and serviced.
• Participate in an on-call maintenance roster as required.
