Opal HealthCare Box Hill Views Care Community is seeking a passionate Demi Chef to join our hospitality team and help create enjoyable dining experiences for our residents.

We are looking for someone who is available for 3 days per week (Monday and Tuesday 0600-1400, Thursday 0900-1700). The successful candidate will work closely with the Head Chef and catering team, preparing nutritious meals while contributing to a welcoming dining experience that supports resident wellbeing and choice.

Qualifications

• Experience in a commercial kitchen environment.
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary requirements.
• Strong organisation and time management.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and deliver nutritious meals, snacks, and dining experiences for residents.
• Ensure meals are prepared and served in line with dietary requirements and preferences.
• Maintain high standards of food presentation, quality, and customer service.
• Support meal service delivery in accordance with kitchen schedules and service standards.
• Work collaboratively with the Head Chef and hospitality team.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised kitchen environment.
• Assist with stock rotation, deliveries, and minimisation of food waste.
• Follow food safety, infection control, and workplace safety requirements at all times.
