Opal HealthCare’s Narrabeen Glades Care Community on Sydney’s Northern Beaches is seeking a Demi Chef to join the hospitality team. You will prepare nutritious meals and create a positive dining experience for residents, working closely with the Head Chef to meet dietary needs and uphold food safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in a commercial kitchen setting.
• Ability to follow recipes and maintain quality standards.
• Strong focus on food safety and hygiene practices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver nutritious meals and dining experiences for residents.
• Ensure meals meet dietary requirements and preferences.
• Maintain high standards of food presentation, quality, and service.
• Support meal service delivery in line with kitchen schedules.
• Collaborate with Head Chef and hospitality team.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised kitchen.
• Assist with stock rotation, deliveries and waste minimisation.
• Follow food safety, infection control, and workplace safety requirements.
