Job summary

CommBank in Yass is seeking a Customer Banking Specialist to support customers with everyday banking needs and credit applications. You will engage in in-depth conversations to understand their financial goals, demonstrate in-branch and digital banking options, and provide holistic solutions in a busy retail environment.

This part-time role supports a predetermined 20-hour weekly roster (Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri, 9:15am–1:15pm).

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering exceptional Customer Service in Financial Services, Retail or Hospitality.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to explain financial terms clearly.
• Ability to ask the right questions, find solutions and keep the customer at the centre of everything.
• Experience working in a fast-paced retail banking environment and providing holistic solutions.

Responsibilities

• Have in-depth conversations with customers about banking needs including Home Loans, Business Banking and Financial Advice.
• Assist customers with account enquiries and process applications for credit products.
• Educate customers and demonstrate in-branch technology and digital banking options.
• Problem solve and provide effective solutions while following bank processes and risk guidelines.
