Job summary

CommBank Swan Hill is seeking a part-time Customer Banking Specialist to join our branch team. The role offers 15 hours per week with a fixed roster (Mon, Tue and Fri, 10:00am–3:00pm).

You will connect with customers, help them navigate in-branch technology and digital options, and address transactional needs. You will also process loan and card applications while ensuring adherence to procedures and contributing to community activities.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with customers.
• Ability to ask questions and tailor solutions to customer needs.
• Comfort with in-branch technology and digital banking options.

Responsibilities

• Build a personal connection with customers through meaningful conversations
• Help customers use in-branch technology and digital banking options
• Ask about and respond to customers' transactional needs in the branch
• Perform interviews and process applications for personal loans, credit cards and associated products
• Adhere to the Bank's processes and procedures, including reconciling transactions and reviewing financial positions
• Engage with customers by participating in community events and fundraising activities
• Look out for the safety and wellbeing of your team
• Use tools to capture customer feedback, and take action to correct any service breaks and drive improvement
