Job summary

Norco Co-operative Limited in Australia seeks a part-time afternoon shift worker for the Ormeau depot. The 30-hour week runs 2pm–8pm, coordinating the cold room distribution hub for the northern Gold Coast and southern Brisbane customers.

You will unload finished dairy orders, store them, and load into distributor trucks safely and on time, working with a supportive team. A forklift ticket and a commitment to safety are required; pre-employment medical screening applies.

Qualifications

• Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks in a cold-room environment.
• Hold a current forklift ticket and confident operating in confined spaces.
• Strong focus on safety and WHS principles.
• Able to follow procedures with minimal supervision.
• Good time management and ability to meet deadlines.
• Basic literacy and numeracy to complete order documentation.
• Take pride in work and use problem-solving to make sound decisions.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the cold room distribution hub for northern Gold Coast / Southern Brisbane customers.
• Unload finished dairy orders, store them, and load into distributor trucks safely and on time.
• Work the afternoon shift at Norco’s Ormeau depot with a focus on accuracy and safety.
• Be part of a team and adapt to upskilling as needed.
• Complete pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screening.
