Job summary

Norco Co is seeking a part-time depot operator for the Ormeau site. The role runs 30 hours per week, 2pm–8pm, and focuses on coordinating our cold room distribution hub for the northern Gold Coast and Southern Brisbane customers.

You will unload, store, and reload finished dairy orders into distributor trucks, performing tasks safely with support from a collaborative team, and contributing to timely deliveries under the enterprise agreement.

Qualifications

• Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks in a cold-room environment.
• Hold a current forklift ticket and operate confidently in confined spaces (or willingness to upskill).
• Demonstrate strong safety focus and WHS knowledge.
• Follow procedures accurately with minimal supervision.
• Good time management and ability to meet deadlines.
• Basic literacy and numeracy to complete order documentation.
• Take pride in work, show problem-solving skills and sound decision making.

Responsibilities

• Unload finished dairy orders from the production line and transfer to storage.
• Store and stage orders in the cold room for distribution.
• Load orders into distributor trucks accurately and on time.
• Work independently on the afternoon shift with minimal supervision while maintaining safety.

30 hour a week position (2pm-8pm) based in our Ormeau depot.

About the role:

Work independently on the afternoon shift in Norco’s Ormeau depot to coordinate our cold room distribution hub for our northern gold Coast / Southern Brisbane customers.

In this part-time position you’ll take over from our day shift operator to help make sure our finished dairy orders are unloaded, stored, then loaded accurately into our distributor format trucks, safely and on time. You’ll be part of a supportive team that takes pride in doing a great job every day and you’ll play an important part in keeping our dairy products moving from farm to fridge in a timely manner.

You’ll be a great fit if you:
