Job summary

BankSA Bordertown branch is looking for a Customer Service Officer on a permanent part-time basis. You will be the first point of contact for customers, helping with everyday banking needs and guiding them to specialists when required.

This 25‑hour-per-week role runs Monday to Friday 9.30am–2.30pm, offering a supportive learning environment with comprehensive training on banking products and digital platforms.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in a front-line role.
• Numerical skills with cash handling accuracy.
• Excellent communication with customers and colleagues.
• Ability to adapt to new banking processes and tech.
• Resilience to stay calm and professional under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with banking transactions including deposits and withdrawals.
• Maintain accurate cash handling and end-of-day balancing.
• Educate customers on online banking and the bank's mobile app.
• Identify opportunities to improve customers’ financial wellbeing with tailored solutions.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
