Spencer Travel Holdings Pty Ltd is seeking a dedicated bookkeeper to join our finance team on a part-time basis based in Mascot NSW 2020.

You will maintain accurate financial records, process day-to-day transactions, reconcile accounts, and support our accounting processes to ensure the integrity of financial information.

Qualifications

• A qualification in bookkeeping, accounting, or a related field, or demonstrable equivalent experience.
• Proficiency with Xero.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general IT skills.
• A solid understanding of basic accounting principles and double-entry bookkeeping.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Reliable communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Experience in a small practice accounting environment or similar setting is highly valued.
• Knowledge of GST, tax requirements, and general compliance matters is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Recording and processing financial transactions, including invoices and receipts.
• Reconciling bank statements and accounts on a regular basis.
• Managing accounts payable and receivable functions.
• Preparing financial reports and reconciliation schedules.
• Maintaining accurate and organised financial documentation.
• Supporting the accounts team with ad-hoc financial tasks as required.
• Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
