Job summary

The Wests Group Australia’s Nelson Bay site is seeking a part-time Bistro Server / Food Court Waitperson to join our front-of-house team. This casual role covers service across our food outlets and supports functions and events, with emphasis on delivering excellent member and guest experiences.

You should bring café or fast-food experience, strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, and the ability to work under pressure.

Qualifications

• Previous café or fast food experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a team and strong interpersonal skills.
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
• Comfort with handling tills and cash balancing.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and efficient service to members and guests.
• Assist with clearing and cleaning of tables.
• Operating and balancing of tills.
• Assist with food preparation.
• Barista duties.
• Ensuring hygiene and safe food handling practices are followed.
