Australian Design & Co. offers furniture, lighting, and homewares that are Australian designed and made and of exceptional quality. Our concept store, located in the revived Eddy Ave Precinct at Central Station, allows customers to explore our range in person or shop virtually from anywhere in Australia.

Role Description

This is a part-time role for a Business Development Manager (BDM) located in Sydney, NSW. The BDM will be responsible for identifying business opportunities within a client list, building client relationships, creating strategic business plans, and driving sales growth.

Qualifications

• Business Development and Sales skills, including identifying opportunities and client relationship management
• Strategic Planning and Market Research skills
• Excellent Communication and Networking skills, with the ability to attend events and represent the company
• Reporting and Analytical skills, with experience in preparing sales reports and presentations
• Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work independently
• Experience in the design or retail industry is a plus
• Experience in Interior Design or Architecture highly regarded
• Most suited to someone looking for a flexible work environment 3-4 days per week.
