Job summary

Bendigo Bank’s Community Bank Ballan is seeking a part-time Customer Service Officer to join our Ballan branch in VIC. You’ll help customers with transactions, online banking, and tailored product recommendations in a dynamic, community-focused team.

You’ll work 3 days per week with two 45-hour fortnight rosters, delivering friendly, accurate service while managing risk and driving customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer service environment and ability to achieve targets.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure secure, accurate transactions with a risk mindset.
• Confident to communicate with new and existing customers face to face and over the phone.
• Eagerness to understand and communicate what makes our bank different.
• Drive for collaboration and teamwork; banking and finance industry experience is a plus but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Exploring customers' needs through in-depth conversations to help them achieve their financial goals and partnering with different specialists within the branch.
• Supporting customers with digital literacy and online banking needs as offerings evolve.
• Being the face of the branch and customer service, processing transactions, handling cash, investigating queries or assisting with paperwork with risk considerations.
• On-the-job training and external development opportunities to advance your career.
