Job summary

Bendigo Bank Mt Barker is seeking a Customer Service Officer to join our Community Bank Mt Barker team in WA. This permanent, part-time role offers a Monday–Friday roster and the chance to help customers achieve their banking goals in a community-focused setting.

As the branch face of Bendigo Bank, you’ll assist with transactions, support digital literacy, and promote our products while upholding risk controls and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service environment and the ability to achieve targets
• Strong attention to detail to ensure secure,accurate transactions with a risk mindset
• Confidence to communicate with new and existing customers face to face and over the phone
• Eagerness to understand and communicate what makes our bank different
• Drive for collaboration - mateship is crucial for us to work together and achieve our goals
• Experience in the banking and finance industry is a plus but certainly not essential

Responsibilities

• Exploring customers’ needs through in-depth conversations to help them achieve their financial goals and partnering with different specialists within the branch.
• Keeping up with constant change.You’llsupport our customers with their digital literacy and online banking needs as we continue to innovate our offerings.
• Being the face of the branch and customer service. Become our customer’s go-to person for anything from processing transactions, handling cash, investigatingqueriesorassistingwith paperwork, all while keeping risk considerations at the forefront.
