Job summary

Specsavers Audiology in NSW is hiring a Retail Assistant who will progress into a Clinic Manager pathway. You’ll handle inquiries in person and by phone, guide customers through pre-screening tests, and support day-to-day clinic operations across Top Ryde and Rhodes stores.

The role is part-time (30 hours/week) with flexible hours Tuesday–Saturday, including training to become an audiology champion and leadership development within a supportive, retail-based environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced retail or customer service role.
• Interest or experience in audiology or allied health is a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong computer literacy and Bluetooth troubleshooting ability.
• Full audiology training provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service across audiology products.
• Guide customers through pre-screening tests and hearing aid maintenance.
• Schedule appointments using the Simply Hearing system.
• Lead training for retail staff as audiology champion.
• Support day-to-day clinic operations with the Business Owner.
• Coordinate appointments and maintain high hearing screening standards.
