Job summary

Wellways in Deniliquin NSW is seeking a Part-time Well Connected support worker to assist participants with mental health recovery within their community. You will develop personalised recovery plans and work with clinicians to deliver holistic support.

You will provide specialist interventions, facilitate individual and group activities, and connect participants with community resources while ensuring culturally safe services for CALD and Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander communities.

Qualifications

• Contemporary understanding of mental health issues and recovery-oriented practice.
• Ability to develop practice through supervision, reflection, and training.
• Capability to engage with people from diverse backgrounds and orientations.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to participants, families and carers within Wellways programs.
• Develop personalised recovery plans aligned with participant goals.
• Collaborate with clinicians to deliver holistic, tailored support.
• Deliver individual and group activities to build independent living skills.
• Connect participants with community-based resources and ensure culturally safe services.
